Genshi Kora is the result of a personal research on the endless possibilities of melody. If the previous albums had been conceived as an experience of creation and exploration of sound environments, this time I've approached musical composition as an immediate and compact way for emotional expression. Each piece is a structured and multifaceted entity, some of abstract proportions, others following the classical tradition. J. S. Bach and Bela Bartók were my primary source of inspiration, it spontaneously came to me to go back to the past, facing the discipline and the patience required when approaching musical paths made up of forms, counterpoint and theoretical studies. All of this knowledge has been implemented on my usual ways of music making, already comprehending experimentation and electronic sounds.
In other words, I've tried to make multiple musical worlds coexist.
What I eventually got from this experience is this album of 10 classic electronic music compositions that I never thought I could make until a few years ago, and I've also learned that, as bad and wrong this world is, we just need to look towards the right direction to grasp endless possibilities of beauty and improvement.
For me, the right direction is the one traced by all those personalities who care about the future of living beings and our planet, in any possible way or form.
